Dr. Yaunke's Retirement Announcement
One of our Veterinarian’s, Dr. Charlene Yaunke, will soon begin the next chapter of her life. With bittersweet emotions we would like to announce her last day will be December 15, 2016 where after she will enjoy retirement.
Dr. Yaunke received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1992 and has practiced in the Milwaukee area since. She joined the Forest Home Animal Clinic team in May 2009. She has been an avid member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA), and Secretary of the Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA).
Dr. Yaunke is looking forward to spending more time on gardening, caring for her pets, reading murder mysteries, attending music festivals, and relaxing at her second home in Door County with her husband, Verne.
A lot of memories have been made over the years and it’s been an honor to have Dr. Yaunke a part of the Forest Home Animal Clinic team. We are saddened to see her go yet thrilled for her to start the next exciting journey in life.
Dr. Laura Bonofiglio will continue to be available for your pet’s care and we look forward to adding another Veterinarian to our team.
