Dr. Laura Bonofiglio is a 2010 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Bonofiglio spent a year as an associate veterinarian in a mixed animal practice in southeast Wisconsin. She has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery at Forest Home Animal Clinic since 2011.
Dr. Bonofiglio’s small animal care experiences began long before her degree in Veterinary Medicine. She worked for a small animal clinic as a Veterinary Medical Assistant for six years where she developed technical skills as well as her compassion and understanding of the importance of the owner-pet relationship. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA) and the Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA).
In her spare time, Dr. Bonofiglio enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and feline companion, Louie, traveling (Especially to National Parks), hiking, fishing, boating, and gardening.
Dr. Khatter was born and raised in India. After completing her veterinary degree in India, she moved to US to pursue higher education at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. At UWM she obtained her Masters in Biochemistry. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 from University of Mississippi and started practicing exclusively as a small animal veterinarian. She joined Forest Home Animal Clinic in March 2017 and was previously employed at a clinic in Waukesha for 7 years. Dr. Khatter frequently attends continuing education seminars to further her knowledge and skills in rapidly evolving field of veterinary medicine. She works diligently to ensure that her groups of furry friends remain happy and healthy.
She lives in New Berlin, WI with her husband and their 2 kids and 3 cats. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, biking, gardening and watching movies. Somehow between working, taking care of her family, and all other activities she dreams to find time to prepare and participate in 5K runs!
