Natalie joined the Forest Home Animal Clinic in October 2009. She graduated from UW-Platteville with a B.S. in Animal Science and has also worked as a Veterinary Technician at a local animal ER. Natalie has always had a special bond with dogs and knew at a young age that she wanted to work with animals. For her, the most enjoyable aspects of veterinary medicine include patient care and nursing, client education and behavior training.
She lives in South Milwaukee with her boyfriend Aaron and their pets: Bandit, a Belgian Malinois, Frank, a Yellow Lab and Iris, a tortoiseshell cat.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys running and hiking with her canine companions, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Kahla started as a Veterinary Assistant in October 2013. Kahla's love for animals all started at the young age of four when her parents surprised her with a Yorkshire Terrier puppy! Her love grew when she started volunteering at a therapeutic ranch for special needs children and gained experience working at a local veterinary kennel. She graduated from Milwaukee Career College with a Veterinary Assistant certificate in 2013 and is planning on becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in the near future.
Today, she shares her love and home with a Labrador-Spitz mix named Riley, and Teddy a Bichon-Yorkie mix.
Kahla prefers the outdoors with a variety of activities including boating, ATVing, fishing, snowboarding and hiking to name a few. She also recently took up canvas painting.
